Subscription & Connection Help Center
Find answers by account, connection, route, and billing topic. Each guide starts with an actionable troubleshooting sequence and moves to the user panel when account status needs to be checked.
ACCOUNT & SUBSCRIPTION
Account & Subscription
Handle registration, subscription access, configuration updates, and device changes. Retrieve subscription content from your own user panel; do not copy it from public pages or someone else’s configuration.
Do I need an email address to register?
No email address is required. Register with a username and password. Save your username and use a unique password for ijvpn; these credentials are needed to sign in to the user panel, view plans, and access your subscription.
Where can I get my subscription link?
Sign in to the user panel and open the client and subscription section to access your account’s current subscription. Marketing pages do not publish real subscription URLs or direct static installer links; always copy or import the subscription from your own user panel.
Why don’t I see any routes after importing the subscription link?
First confirm that you copied the complete subscription content, not the marketing page URL from your browser’s address bar. Then update the subscription or refresh the configuration in your client. If the list is still empty, retrieve it again from the user panel and check that the plan is currently available.
Does the subscription link need regular updates?
Update it in the client when the route list changes, the client has not refreshed for a long time, or you have retrieved the subscription again from the panel. If routes appear and connect normally, there is no need to repeatedly delete the configuration; use the client’s update function instead.
Do I need to buy another plan when switching devices?
No. ijvpn supports simultaneous use on an unlimited number of devices. The same account subscription can be used on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. After switching devices, retrieve the subscription again from the user panel and import it.
Subscription management tip If you have sent subscription content to an untrusted location, stop sharing it and submit a ticket through the user panel with the details. Store subscription content as carefully as account credentials.
CONNECTION & TROUBLESHOOTING
Connections & Troubleshooting
Connection issues usually require separating local network, client configuration, and target-app problems. Troubleshooting in order makes the source easier to identify than repeatedly clicking reconnect.
The client says it is connected, but webpages still won’t open. What should I do?
Disconnect the current route first, then reconnect using another route that matches the target service’s region. Completely quit and reopen your browser afterward. If the system network has just changed, you can also turn the client connection off and back on to avoid reusing stale network state.
Why can’t just one app access the internet through the current connection?
The app may not use the system network settings, or client rules may have assigned it to a different path. Switch the client to a broader connection mode, then fully quit and reopen the app. If that does not help, change routes and review the client rules.
What should I do if I can’t connect after switching from a home network to public Wi-Fi?
After a network change, the previous connection may retain stale state. Disconnect ijvpn, confirm that the new network can open ordinary webpages on its own, then reconnect to a route. If the public network requires web authentication, complete it in a browser before starting the connection.
How should I troubleshoot a client that keeps connecting and disconnecting?
Pause repeated retries first and check that the local network is not switching between access points. Then change routes, update the subscription, and restart the client. If the same issue occurs across multiple networks, submit a ticket from the user panel with your platform, route name, and the steps that triggered the problem.
Will reinstalling the client affect my subscription?
Reinstalling does not change the plan on your account, but locally saved client settings may need to be imported again. After installation, sign in to the user panel, retrieve the subscription, add it again, and update the route list. Do not rely on old links saved in an unknown location before uninstalling.
Include your platform, current network, selected route, affected app, and the steps you have already tried. Clear context helps reduce repeated questions.

Speed & Routes
Route speed is not determined by region name alone. Local access, time of day, target service, and background tasks all affect performance, so compare routes under the same conditions.
What should I try first when streaming buffers during peak hours?
Reduce parallel downloads and cloud sync on the local network, then try different routes in the same region. Route performance varies by time, access network, and target service, so choose based on actual playback on your current network rather than locking in a route after a single test.
Should I choose the nearest route or one in the target region?
For ordinary webpages and general apps, start with a nearby route to reduce cross-region distance. For content restricted to a specific region, prioritize a route matching the target service’s region. ijvpn covers 90+ countries / 200+ routes, so switch by use case instead of using one region for everything.
The route connects, but video quality won’t improve. What should I do?
Check whether the local network is downloading files or syncing data, then switch to another route in the same region and reopen the playback page. Some platforms retain their previous quality decision, so fully quit and reopen the app after changing routes. If the local network is unstable, rule out access-quality issues first.
An AI tool loads normally but stops partway through an answer. What should I do?
Streaming responses require a persistent connection, and even a brief network change can interrupt the current session. Keep the device network stable, pause activities that change network conditions, and choose a route that is currently performing steadily. After switching, reopen the conversation page so it does not continue using the interrupted connection.
Why is the same route faster on one device than another?
Wireless quality, background tasks, system network settings, and client rules can all affect performance. Connect both devices to the same access network, pause background transfers, and test them separately. If the difference remains significant, review rules, system updates, and network permissions on the slower device.
Choosing a route Start by selecting a region based on the use case, then compare actual performance at the current time. If the target service has no regional requirement, try the route with the shorter path first; if content varies by region, prioritize a route matching the target region.
BILLING & REFUNDS
Billing & Refunds
Monthly subscriptions and data packages use different data rules. Before ordering or upgrading, confirm how you want to use the data, then review the relevant order in the user panel.
How much data is included in a monthly subscription, and when does it reset?
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date rather than at the start of each calendar month; check the current subscription details in the user panel for the exact reset status.
Does a data package reset every month?
No. Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Options are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Unlike monthly subscriptions, which reset on the activation date, they suit users who prefer to consume data gradually according to actual usage.
How is a mid-cycle monthly plan upgrade calculated?
For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is converted into the remaining days. Before submitting the upgrade, check the current plan, target plan, and displayed result in the user panel, then confirm before proceeding. Do not confuse a monthly plan upgrade with purchasing a separate data package.
Which payment methods are supported?
Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Open the Plans page in the user panel, choose a monthly subscription or data package, and complete the process using the methods shown at checkout. Check payment status and order results in the user panel records.
How do I request a refund?
ijvpn offers 60-day refunds. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket page, select the relevant order, and describe your refund request. Keep the order record available for verification. Do not submit account credentials or the complete subscription content on public pages.
