The complete path from account to connection

Subscription Import: A Beginner’s Guide

Follow the sequence: create an account, choose a plan, get your subscription, import it into a client, and verify the connection. Each section covers only the action at hand, making it easy for first-time ijvpn users to check each step.

Before you begin

Confirm the workflow first

Interface labels may vary Button locations in Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS clients can change with the operating system and client version. This guide uses common labels such as “Subscription Management,” “Import from Link,” and “Update Subscription.” If the wording differs in your client, look for an entry with the same meaning. Do not paste the subscription link into a regular web browser address bar.

The ijvpn workflow has two parts: the user panel handles your account, plan, subscription, and client downloads, while the installed client reads the routes, establishes the connection, and switches exits. For your first setup, keep the user panel signed in within your browser before opening the client to import the subscription. This makes it easy to return to the panel and check whether the link was copied completely, the plan status has appeared, or the client needs to be downloaded again.

A subscription link is an account-linked configuration entry. It is not a server address that you should type character by character, and it should never be shared publicly in forums, groups, or public documents. The client uses this link to read available routes, so copy it in full from beginning to end. The https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN shown in this guide only demonstrates the format of a link; it is not a real subscription address and cannot be used to connect.

For details on route types, differences between network environments, long-lived AI tool connections, or more complete troubleshooting methods, read the AI Acceleration Guide and Help Center. This page focuses on the essential first-connection workflow without adding unnecessary technical concepts along the way.

Create your account identity

Create an account and open the user panel

After opening the free access page, choose a memorable username that you do not use on other websites, then set a password and submit the form. ijvpn does not require an email address for registration; a username and password are enough. You will enter the user panel after submitting. If the page remains on the login screen, sign in with the username and password you just created. After logging in, check that the username shown at the top or in the account area is the current one, so an old browser session does not cause confusion.

Your username and password are used to access the user panel, where you can check plan status, get your subscription, and manage support tickets. Because the account does not rely on an email address, you are responsible for storing the password securely. If you are configuring several devices, complete the connection on one device first, then return to the same account to set up the others; each device does not need a separate account.

Once you enter the panel, there is no need to look for the subscription link immediately. Before you choose an available plan, Account Overview may show only basic details or an entry to the plans page. This is normal. Open the plans page next, choose an option based on the usage period and data you need, and return to Account Overview to copy the subscription after the plan becomes active.

Match your usage

Choose a plan and complete checkout

After signing in to the user panel, open the plans section to compare monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly from the activation date. For ongoing use, choose the tier that fits your typical video, web, development-tool, and file-transfer usage rather than judging it by a single session.

Data packages are valid until the included data is used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They suit users with irregular usage who want their data to remain available across billing periods. Both options support unlimited devices, but all devices on the same account share the data included in the selected subscription or package, so consider total usage when configuring multiple devices.

After choosing an option, click the Start Using entry for that plan. Check that the plan name, price, and data allowance match your expectations, then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. After payment, return to the user panel and do not submit the same order again. Once the page shows that the plan is active, continue to get your subscription. If you upgrade a monthly subscription, the price difference is converted into remaining days; use the current status shown in the user panel as the final reference.

All plans include a 60-day no-questions-asked refund policy. The plans page contains the complete pricing and policy details, so this guide does not repeat them. If you are still unsure about the difference between monthly subscriptions and data packages, review the full comparison on the pricing page before returning to the panel to place your order.

Copy it from Account Overview

Get the subscription link for your account

After the plan becomes active, open Account Overview in the user panel. The subscription section is usually near the remaining data, plan status, and client entry. Find “Copy Subscription” or a similarly named button and click it; your browser will copy the complete link to the clipboard. Do not select only part of the link or delete anything after the question mark, as those details allow the client to read the route configuration for your account.

After copying, you may temporarily paste the link into a controlled local input field on your device to check that it is complete, but do not save it in a publicly synced note or chat history. A real link may resemble the example https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN, but the domain and parameters are provided by the panel. This guide never displays a usable subscription address; the only trusted source is the user panel after login.

If clicking Copy produces no message, allow the browser to use the clipboard and try again. You can also use the panel’s display or manual-copy option, selecting from the beginning of the link to the end before copying. Then go directly to the subscription import page in the client. Do not open the link in a browser or save it as a regular website bookmark.

When configuring another device, sign in to the user panel again and copy the link instead of forwarding it through a public channel. This reduces the risk of missing part of the link and lets you confirm that the current plan is still active. If a subscription has been exposed publicly, stop sharing it and contact support through user panel tickets for guidance.

Open Account Overview

After the plan becomes active, copy the complete link from the subscription section.

Configure each device

Import the subscription into your client

First get the ijvpn client for your platform from the user panel, then add the subscription inside the client. The client and subscription serve different purposes: installing the client prepares the runtime environment, while importing the subscription makes the available routes appear.

Windows: Import into the desktop client

On your Windows device, sign in to the user panel, open the client downloads section, and get the ijvpn Windows client. After installation, launch it and look for “Subscription,” “Configuration Management,” or “Add Configuration.” Choose import from link. Paste the complete subscription link you copied earlier, give the configuration a recognizable name, and confirm to save it.

After saving, run Update Subscription once. When the route list appears, choose a region that matches your current purpose, then return to the client’s main screen and start the connection. If Windows shows a network access or connection confirmation dialog, confirm that it belongs to the newly installed ijvpn client and continue. If the import succeeds but the route list is empty, return to Account Overview to check the plan status and try updating the subscription; reinstalling the client repeatedly is unnecessary.

macOS: Configure the subscription and authorize the connection

On macOS, get the appropriate client from the user panel and install it. The first launch may ask you to confirm the app source or grant network configuration permission; follow the system prompts to authorize it. In the client, open subscription management, choose Add via Link, paste the complete subscription, and save it. Then click Update so the client can load the currently available routes.

When the routes finish loading, choose the target region and start the connection. The macOS menu bar usually shows the client status, while the main window indicates whether it is connected or stopped. If the connection should remain active after closing the window, confirm that the client is still running in the menu bar. If missing permissions prevent startup, check the relevant network permission in System Settings first. For detailed troubleshooting, see the connection and troubleshooting section in the Help Center.

Android: Add the link in the mobile client

In a browser on your Android device, sign in to the user panel and get the ijvpn Android client from the client download entry. Open the client, go to its configuration or subscription page, tap Add, and choose import from link. Long-press the input field to paste the subscription link, check that there are no extra spaces or line breaks, save it, and run Update Subscription.

When you start the connection for the first time, Android displays a system-level network connection confirmation. This is a required system step for the client to establish the connection. Confirm it, then return to the client and check its status; the route name and connection switch should remain visible. If the client stops after being sent to the background, check the system’s background activity settings for the app. Only make sure the system does not immediately terminate the client; unrelated system options do not need to be changed.

iOS: Configure the client from the panel

On your iOS device, open the client downloads section in the user panel and get the appropriate client through the entry provided there. After installation, copy the subscription link, return to the client’s subscription or configuration page, choose Add from Link, and paste it. Save and run Update, wait for the route list to load, then choose the region you need.

The first connection on iOS asks you to allow a network configuration to be added. Confirm it and let the system complete the setup, then start or stop the connection in the client. If pasting produces an invalid-link-format message, clear the field and copy the complete link again from Account Overview; do not add a protocol, domain, or parameter yourself. After importing, use the client’s Update Subscription function for future route updates instead of creating the configuration again.

Get clients from the user panel

Client entries for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux are all available in the panel after login. ijvpn does not provide static installers or subscription addresses on marketing pages.

Get the client

Confirm the route is working

Connect to a route and verify that it works

After importing, choose a route whose region matches the target service, then start the connection. Do not judge a route by its region alone; consider the use case as well. For AI Tools, keep the region and login environment relatively consistent. For region-specific content, choose the relevant region. For regular websites and cross-border work, start with a nearby route that currently offers a stable experience.

Once the client shows Connected, open the website or app you need and check whether pages load normally, your login state remains intact, and ongoing actions feel smooth. For testing, start with one service that clearly requires international network access rather than opening multiple downloads or video streams at once. This makes it easier to tell whether an issue comes from the connection or local network usage. Resume normal activity gradually after basic access works.

If the client shows Connected but the target service remains unavailable, disconnect the current route and test another route in the same region. Some services assess the exit region, account region, and previous login environment together, so a successful connection does not mean all content will automatically change region. If a login-risk warning appears, stop switching frequently and try again after keeping the same region and a relatively stable route.

If no route connects, first confirm that your local network can access ordinary websites. Then update the subscription and choose a route again. If the issue continues, compare with another local network environment to determine whether the cause is a current network restriction, client permission, or subscription status. The complete troubleshooting sequence is available in Connection & Troubleshooting Help; this page does not cover protocol parameters or system-level diagnostics.

Route selection tip Start with a route that matches the region and use case, then switch to another route in the same region if the connection is unsatisfactory. Frequent changes between regions may affect how some services assess the login environment.

After your first connection

Routine updates and multiple devices

After the first connection is verified, the client keeps the imported subscription configuration. For everyday use, you usually only need to open the client, choose a route, and start the connection; there is no need to paste the subscription link again each time. When the route list changes or an existing route stops working, run Update Subscription in the client first so it can reload the configuration provided by the panel, then decide whether re-importing is necessary.

ijvpn supports unlimited devices. The same account can be configured on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux devices, but the monthly subscription or data package is shared across them. Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date, while data packages never expire and remain available until used. To make usage easier to track, configure your main devices first, add others gradually, and check the remaining data in Account Overview from time to time.

The subscription link is tied to your account status, so handle it as carefully as your account password. There is no need to generate a new configuration frequently for routine updates, and the same link should not be placed in a public document. When changing devices, sign in to the user panel and copy it again. When you stop using a device, simply delete the corresponding subscription configuration from its client.
